I have to admit, I’m not quite ready for a new season. While, I love fall, I find myself savoring the remaining days of summer – it’s warm nights, long sunny days, spending weekends on a trail, attending our son’s soccer practices and family outings at the park.
Despite the cooler weather, changing of the leaves and the return to routines and learning – there’s much to look forward to in Longmont and across the
St. Vrain Valley.
Fall is for locals — trails and parks are less crowded and our town is buzzing with activity. Think pumpkin patches and farmers markets, cool crisp days and chilly nights. It’s also a great time to partake at a local eatery, coffee shop or savor a local fall craft beer, wine or spirit. It’s a time to gather with family and friends cheering on a local school or professional sports team and admiring the beauty of Colorado.
In this edition, we highlight our favorite local eateries, brews and farms. Inside we offer favorite meal ideas you can make at home, tips to making homemade pizza and designing a perfect charcuterie board.
